You can delete your account yourself, in the LingUp app or in the web app. It only takes a minute.
In the LingUp app
- Open LingUp and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the settings button at the top of the Profile screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Read the notice, then tap Delete Account to confirm.
In the web app
- Sign in at app.lingup.ai and open Profile, then Settings.
- Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Can’t open the app?
Email support@lingup.ai from the email address of your LingUp account and ask us to delete it. We’ll let you know when it’s done.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your personal information (name, email, etc.).
- Your progress and learning history.
- Your conversations and any messages within the app.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the store too, so you aren’t charged again.
Retention period
Please note that it may take up to 30 days to completely remove your data from all our systems.
